FreeV powered MusicTelevision.Com originally presented this very stellar live filmed performance of Amy Winehouse in 2011, and FreeV is very please to re-present this timeless take.
This first song I ever heard Amy Winehouse do was Stronger Than Me. It was offered as free promotional download on music.download.com in 2002/2003 and was a rougher demo version than the album version. It was so beautiful, I melted each time I listened and must of played it hundreds of times. Been digging through my old drives looking for that old version.
This video below is the best version of this song I could find so far, thanks to one of the best music shows on the planet, Later with Jools Holland out of the U.K. on the BBC. Jools is a former member of Squeeze. Remember Squeeze's song titled Pulling Muscles from a Shell?
I love this recording, below, very much. It was early in Winehouse's career before she got carried away with tattoos, the drugs and the booze. She stands there, sexy as can be, delivering the goods, singing her ass off and nailing some very sweet guitar voicings on her Stratocaster. It was obvious genius in the making. Enjoy! (Gregory J. Chamberlain)

FreeV powered Music Television previously featured the the trio known as London Grammar and songs from their debut album titled If You Wait, which are now undeniable classics, 10 years later.
The thing that was and still is so impressive about this group is their lack of attempting to impress with anything other than the elegance of their music. The music is minimalist, yet rich. The group's vocalist, Hannah Reid, exudes a certain stillness, focus and control. Her voice is deliciously lush, which is all she needs as she simply stands in front of a microphone and delivers. Enjoy!

FreeV powered MusicTelevision.Com previously featured this outstanding breakout performance of Jeff Beck and the awesome young female bassist Tal Wilkenfeld, along with keyboardist Jason Rebello and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. We are very pleased to present this, once again, in fond memory of Jeff Beck who passed away on January 10, 2023.
This performance took place in 2007 at Eric Clapton's semiannual Crossroads Guitar Festival to benefit the charity Clapton created that provides drug and alcohol rehabilitation to locals as well as visitors on the Island of Antigua. The centre is called Crossroads Antigua.
It was a big deal for many new fans who were blown away at noticing and hearing the playing of Wilkenfeld for their first time. She blew fresh air into the world of bass playing.

FreeV is very pleased to present a repost of what has been one of the top most visited posts on FreeV's Music Television channel online.
On November 22 1981, in the middle of their mammoth American tour, the Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago prior to playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon. Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Buddy Guy's club the Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman perform. It didn't take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured on camera. Restored from the original footage and with sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, this amazing blues night is right here.
